COMMUNICATING WITH YOUR DOCTOR
Ongoing communication between you and your doctor during the course of your illness is essential. Collecting information about your disease and the treatment plan cannot take place during one visit with your doctor. It is an evolving process as more information becomes available and because information changes. You also may change your mind about the level of detail and the timing at which you receive information.
It is important that your doctor understands your expectations for communication.
