The Radiation Oncology Department of the Benesse Oncology Center, a joint program of Major Hospital, draws on an outstanding tradition of academic medicine. In this setting we are able to offer patients the advantages of the most advanced technology combined with a compassionate treatment approach.

Every physician of the Radiation Oncology department is a board-certified radiation oncologist who works cohesively with a wonderful team of experts. This friendly, compassionate team consists of a nurse, dosimetrist, two radiation therapists, a dietician, and an office coordinator.

The heart of the Center is a computer-controlled dual energy linear accelerator, equipped with IMRT and IGRT capabilities, a CT Simulator, and a sophisticated 3-D conformal treatment planning system to accurately target tumors and protect normal tissue.
